Sunset Western Garden Collection Begins to Grow in California

Village Nurseries is now a grower of Sunset Western Plant Collection

Loxley, AL – April 13, 2012 – Sunset Magazine is happy to announce that Village Nurseries in California is now growing the entire Sunset Western Garden Collection in their nurseries throughout California.

The newly-formed Sunset Western Garden Collection is the first live plant collection to focus exclusively on top performing plants for the Western gardener.  With 23 varieties being introduced, the collection will hit retail shelves beginning in April 2012. Distribution will expand to the 13 Western states in the Sunset Magazine reading area in coming years.

We are thrilled that Sunset’s garden experts and Plant Development Services have collaborated to develop this unique line of high quality plants specifically for Western gardeners,” says Barb Newton, president of Sunset Publishing.

Village Nurseries currently has major wholesale sales offices in Orange and Sacramento, California, and more than 700 acres under cultivation in growing facilities located strategically throughout Northern and Southern California.
